Measured from this photo
- About 40% of the skin in the photo is covered in henna: less ink than 61% of the 2,300 front hand designs we have measured.
- By area: fingers 48%, palm or back of the hand 39%, wrist and arm 17%.
- A typical line is about 1.9 mm wide, so you would want a cone with a wider tip, or more pressure.
- Laid end to end, the lines come to about 6.5 m of henna.
- It has about 86 separate dots.
Estimates read by our software from the photo itself. The angle, crop and lighting of a photo change them, so treat them as a guide.
