Measured from this photo
- About 25% of the skin in the photo is covered in henna: less ink than 72% of the 2,433 finger designs we have measured.
- By area: fingers 36%, palm or back of the hand 14%, wrist and arm 16%.
- A typical line is about 2.2 mm wide, so you would want a cone with a wider tip, or more pressure.
- Laid end to end, the lines come to about 2.9 m of henna.
- It has about 15 separate dots.
Estimates read by our software from the photo itself. The angle, crop and lighting of a photo change them, so treat them as a guide.
