Aesthetic Simple Finger Mehndi Design with Lotus (2)

Measured from this photo

• About 29% of the skin in the photo is covered in henna: less ink than 60% of the 2,433 finger designs we have measured.
• By area: fingers 36%, palm or back of the hand 27%, wrist and arm 1%.
• A typical line is about 1.0 mm wide, so you would want a cone with a fine tip.
• Laid end to end, the lines come to about 0.7 m of henna.
• More than half of the ink is filled-in shapes rather than lines, so it needs a thicker paste and longer to dry.

Estimates read by our software from the photo itself. The angle, crop and lighting of a photo change them, so treat them as a guide.
