Measured from this photo
- About 48% of the skin in the photo is covered in henna: more ink than 64% of the 2,713 back hand designs we have measured.
- By area: fingers 40%, palm or back of the hand 57%, wrist and arm 48%.
- It has about 72 separate dots.
- More than half of the ink is filled-in shapes rather than lines, so it needs a thicker paste and longer to dry.
Estimates read by our software from the photo itself. The angle, crop and lighting of a photo change them, so treat them as a guide.
